Our Mission

Connecting Flights Foundation (CFF) is a nonprofit organization that bridges the cultural divide, creating access to enriching travel-based experiences for under-resourced families and youth. We are here for families who find it difficult due to socio-economic barriers to access travel and interact with diverse cultures, inspiring positive bonding experiences and encouraging curiosity. 

It's our objective to enable families to:

  • expand their worldview beyond their immediate community

  • connect with like-minded peers and be empowered to transform their lives through cultural enlightenment

  • learn and grow from interactions with diverse cultures and climates

  • strengthen their family bond through shared exploration

How we help

CFF offers a variety of key programs to support families every step of the way, from documentation assistance to sponsorship opportunities. With a focus on educational and culturally enriching experiences, CFF ensures that every sponsored family has a smooth, enjoyable, and unforgettable travel experience.

  • We help families process the necessary forms for their passport applications, visas and other travel documentation and provides ongoing support. This assistance will be professionally supervised and conducted by our volunteers, employees and collaborative partners to ensure a hassle-free experience.

  • CFF offers travel experiences free of charge to eligible youth and families, including airfare, lodging, meals and additional costs associated with the trips. Our trip offerings are vetted to be educational, safe and fun for participants, so that participants have the unique opportunity to connect and experience multiple cultures, try new things and make happy memories as a family.

  • Every sponsored family will be guided and supported from start to finish so they have a smooth enjoyable experience. Our staff guides will accompany every family to assist them in matters of travel logistics, local communication and any further assistance that they might require at their destination. CFF representatives will work with families before and after their successful trip, providing comprehensive and ongoing support through a CFF alumni community and scholar program.

  • Youth participants who successfully complete CFF's travel program and meet academic eligibility requirements will have the opportunity to receive incentives and rewards that support their pursuit of inspiring enrichment activities outside the classroom.

  • We bring together participants to share and reflect on their travel experiences. By providing families access to experiences as a unit, we help build stronger family connections and create lifelong memories as they embark on incredible adventures together
